Doors close July 21st and then the Feedback begins…
The Coalition: Round 1
Make a Better Sales Page. Make More Money.
Get the anonymous feedback from your peers so your sales page can finally do what it is supposed to.
Anonymous Feedback from Valuable People
I’m great at giving advice to others and not listening to my own. That’s silly but that’s the truth.
As I thought about this I realized one of the problems is that I’m not consistently getting feedback on how others perceive what I’m doing.
I don’t need people to tell me what I’m doing right or wrong. I need to see my work through their eyes. I want to be able to ask questions that get me somewhere.
- If I’m going for a certain vibe. Are you getting that vibe?
- If I’m explaining what I do are you understanding it?
- Are my Reels so cheesy they miss the mark?
But blindly asking for feedback on the Internet never works out. You get random people giving random advice without any perspective.
I think we can change that.
How It Might Look for You…
Yep, this is an obvious thing to buy and I’m the type of person who buys obvious things…
How Does This Magical Thing Work?
Step 1
Submit your info.
Step 2
Give feedback to others.
Step 3
Receive feedback on your sales page.
Every round we focus on a theme. This first round is going to focus on your sales page.
You sign up, complete a form where you include a link to your sales page and answer some simple questions like:
- What are you promising?
- Who is this for?
- What feeling should they leave with?
Then this is where the magic happens.
Everyone who has signed up is responsible for giving feedback to others, anonymously.
Don’t worry, the feedback will be specific and relevant because we’re going to include some targeted questions plus an open feedback field for people to add what improvements you might consider.
Once the round is done, you’ll be sent a link to the responses in a Google Sheet that is just for you and now you have the feedback necessary to help you improve.
You Have Three Options for a Better Sales Page
Tier I
Create a more effective sales page by getting feedback from your peers to see if your Sales Page is doing what you think it should be doing. Make a better sales page by seeing it through someone else’s eyes.
Tier II
Everything in Tier I plus a 20+ minute video review of your sales page done by me. I’ll go over everything with a fine-tooth comb and tell you what I would do to make your page better.
Tier III
Everything in Tier I plus I’ll redo your sales page myself taking in the feedback from your peers. This includes any necessary design tweaks to give the page a unique feel that can stand out from the crowd.
Questions from the Nosy People
How much feedback will I get? We can guarantee feedback from at least 10 people. After that, it depends on how many others sign up, but to receive your feedback you will have to give feedback to a certain number of others (we will track people by assigned numbers so when you give someone feedback, you’ll let them know #33 is the one giving feedback).
Is my feedback anonymous? Yes. Nobody wants to feel awkward giving honest feedback for fear of whatever. You’ll be assigned a random identifier so when you give feedback that’s the only thing attached to you. This is done so we can ensure everyone is giving the feedback they are assigned.
When does it start? Sign-up starts on July 16th and ends on July 21st. The deadline to submit your information will be July 23rd and everyone has 5 days (July 28th) to send in their feedback of the people they are assigned.
Can I submit multiple sales pages? Each spot is reserved for one sales page so if wish to have multiple sales pages evaluated you’ll need to purchase multiple spots.
I don’t have a sales page but I have an idea for an offer. Should I still sign up? Because this is about the messaging of your sales page you can submit a Google Doc as your sales page URL if you wish. That way you can get a better feel for things before you work on your sales page.
Will I get feedback from Paul Scrivens and Marybeth Santos? Yes, you’re guaranteed to get feedback from both members of the Makers Mob team no matter how many people sign up.
Sometimes We Fly Blind for Too Long
We can follow all of the advice that we want, but the truth is that we never know how others perceive what we’re doing.
Hell, this sales page is a great example. I know what I’m trying to do and I know what I’m trying to say, but that doesn’t mean you see things the way that I do. The only way I would know that is if you told me.
A shitty thing that can happen to your business is not understanding why something isn’t working the way you want. Numbers can help to paint a picture but even great numbers don’t help you to see things the way others do.
The Coalition was created so that we don’t have to fly as blind anymore. It takes the guesswork out of building a business by helping us to see things the way our people see things.
Getting feedback is a valuable asset to have. It’s one thing to have a single person tell you something and it’s another to have dozens of people repeat the same thing.
