The Best Business for 2025

Assume everyone will have a business in the future

How does the future look when everyone has a business? How do you find success?

  • Do you get better at SEO?
  • Do you try to create unique offers?
  • Do you post more than everyone else? Do you post less?
  • Do you become louder? Do you become smarter?
  • Do you pivot?

This is kind of the problem when I say “Put your audience last” because your audience is the one that will give you money. So putting them last feels like a recipe for disaster.

But think about the things that you’re drawn to. I mean really drawn to.

The brands that you always stick with.

It’s cliché at this point but I’m an Apple guy. I love almost everything Apple. If I’m going to buy a device and there is an Apple version of it, then I’m going with the Apple version.

They don’t always have the most features. They definitely aren’t the cheapest. But they’re Apple so I get them.

Why?

Because Apple has created a world that I love to live in.

And that’s how you need to view your business. When you build a world you get to do something amazing.

Build for yourself.

When you build for yourself, and I mean truly build for yourself, then you start to find that you’re creating something others want to be a part of. The more you build and share what you’re building, the more people show up.

Because that’s what we are all looking for. A place that allows us to be more us.

And that’s how you stand out in today’s world. There are other people who are going to create offers similar to yours. There are people who are going to go after the same audience.

But nobody can build your world.

And that’s why this philosophy matters for the future of business.

The Two Main Problems of World-Building

Remember, everyone is going to have a business which means everyone is going to be talking about that business. That’s a lot of noise.

It becomes overwhelming.

This is why you get frustrated when your social media posts don’t get the reach you think they deserve. So maybe you turn to trying to make everything go viral because that feels like the only path to success.

But how many viral pieces of content have you come across that pulled you in permanently? Almost none.

It’s always those random pieces of content that you come across that feel as though they are talking directly to you. The world-building pieces.

They are fun to create but they can also be a challenge. Because if you’re going to post online, you want every piece of content to be as effective as possible.

The gurus make it seem easy for two reasons:

  1. They are in the how to make money niche so everything is world-building when you’re talking about money
  2. They have a team helping them with content

But what about the artist who just wants to paint? They know they have to be on social media but they also want to spend most of their time painting.

So when they do get ready to post what usually happens is that they just post to post. It doesn’t build their world and it doesn’t go viral. If it’s doing neither of those things then it can feel like a waste and once you get to that point, why would you want to post at all?

Some people will try to tell you that you don’t need to pos that often and maybe that’s true for one social media platform. But the truth is you should be on as many as you can be.

The best asset you can have for your world is attention and being on as many platforms as possible seems like the best way to get attention.

But how can you be on many platforms at once posting content that all contributes to your world-building without burning out?

You use AI of course but not in the way that you think because AI itself presents a major problem.
